Cubatron Psychedelic Light Installation at Burning Man 2009 by Mark Lotter

Mark Lotter‘s Cubatron L5 is a grandiose psychedelic light art installation.

Lotter’s cubatron at the Burning Man 2009 festival in the Black Rock desert in Nevada was made up of five individual 8 x 8 x 8 foot sections placed next to each other, raised up 5 feet from the ground so one could crawl under it.

Each section contains 1’000 ping pong ball-covered lights that glow in countless different hues and colors.

These psychedelic computerized patterns seem virtually endless, each one breathtaking in its own stunning way.
