Love or Freedom

You know, I am in love with you.

but long before you came
I’ve been having a love affair with freedom too.

and if you made me choose,
made me promise to make you the only one, I would say it,
if that’s what it would take to make you love me back,

and my heart, would break for you,
can I love you both?
can I have it all?

I want you,

but if I had to make a choice,
I would have a good cry,
as I would let you go.
