Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan designed this splendid house right into the Brazilian jungle.
The so-called 'Paraty house' is located near the colonial town of Paraty, close to Rio de Janeiro. It basically consists of two large drawers pushed into the hill and connected by an internal staircase. Stone and native wood were used to build this amazing Paraty pool house and with its elegant and minimalistic style it's typical for most of Kogan's famous streamlined residential masterpieces. |

Marcio Kogan is inspired by people such as Andy Warhol, Federico Fellini and Ingmar Bergman, though reviewers often mention people such as Frank Lloyd Wright or Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Kogan's work also reminds of the architecture by fellow Brazilian Arthur Casas. Seen on: Thecoolhunter.net – paraty house brazil marcio kogan |
