Oil lamp 'Lighthouse' Danish designer Christian Bjorn’s oil lamp got a graceful spherical shine.

The ‘Lighthouse’ ball oil lamp is made of black or white porcelain. The container for the oil consists of premium steel. It can be used as a tea light holder or a perfect outdoor oil lamp. The oil lamp is available in four sizes and is dishwasher safe.

Christian Bjorn said: "This oil lamp doesn’t burn with just a little flame, it burns like a fantastic bonfire!" The lamp has a unique filling system that makes it possible to fill the oil from above, so there’s no need to take the lamp apart.

Christian Bjorn has been a key figure on the Danish design scene since the end of the 1970s, and today he is credited having established industrial design as an independent profession in Denmark.
The Lighthouse series has been awarded two of the most well-known design prizes in the world: The IF Industrial Design Award and the Red Dot Award.

Bjorn is a member of ‘Menu’, a design team which consists of Pernille Vea and Jakob Wagner.
