GRO Design and TIM model makers present this super-elegant table football: The ’11’.
This football table was exhibited during the Milan Design Week 2008, in Milan, Italy. It was designed by GRO design and developed by TIM model makers.
The exceptional design is supposed to reflect the architecturally impressive football stadiums built in recent years. Table football is a game that for many of us holds cherished memories of our childhood and youth. Its popularity also reflects the passion that millions of people around the world share for football.
Many new football stadiums built in recent years have a strong architectural and sculptural beauty, becoming city landmarks in their own right and enhancing the visual landscape of the local environment. GRO Design wanted the design of the 11 football table to be equally spectacular and memorable, enriching the interior space where it will be placed.
The 22 players are finished in bright silver chrome that represents footballers’ status in sport and society. The lighting effects and the software controlling the game add further excitement to the atmosphere and to the experience of playing the game. The bright-silver chrome finish of the figures mirror footballers’ status in sport and society. Unfortunately for now, only one prototype model exists.
