Thinking Vs. Meditation (By Kip Mazuy)

There is nothing
wrong with thinking
in meditation.

Thinking is happening.

The idea that thinking
should not happen
or that it is a hindrance
to meditation
only increases the stress.

You can use thinking
in meditation.

You allow thinking,
you allow it to be completely
as it is.

If you allow it,
you can watch thinking,
you can see thinking
happening on it’s own
without it having
anything to do with you.

In this,
thinking begins to settle
and you begin
to experience thinking
for what it truly is:
a flow of energy.

You allow and watch
this flow of energy
and it will take you
to the source.

It will lead your attention
out of conflict
and separation
and immerse
you into
nondual consciousness;

into the infinite,
all encompassing peace
that has no opposite.
