JVC invents dodecahedral design speaker

JVC's "Pulsating Speaker". A loudspeaker or speaker, is an electromechanical transducer which converts an electrical signal into sound. The term loudspeaker is used to refer to both the device itself, and a complete system consisting of one or more loudspeaker drivers (as the individual units are often called) in an enclosure. The loudspeaker is the most variable element in an audio system, and is responsible for marked audible differences between systems.This hightech music speaker by JVC looks pretty futuristic with its dodecahedral design.

The new kind of speaker called  "PULSATING SPHERE" invented by JVC sports a 12-sided dodecahedral design, which unlike a regular speaker, pushes out sound in every direction.

When one plays sound through the speaker, the sound appears to be coming from everywhere.

This makes it an ideal speaker for human voices or musical instruments.
