Sensations and the Dance of Life

The sensational dance of life.

The simple truth is that everything that is seen and heard and tasted and smelled and felt and known is composed entirely of sensations (colours, odours, flavours, feelings, sounds) and ideas (number, form, meaning)…

these are not ‘hard’ things’…
it is impossible to say ‘what’ they are…
only ‘that’ they are.

And these are inseparable from who I am…

I am this seer… who cannot be seen… except as colours…
for these colours are inseparable from this seeing
I am this hearer.. who cannot be heard… except as sounds…
for these sounds are inseparable from this hearing
I am this smeller.. who cannot be smelled… except as odours…
for these odours are inseparable from this smelling
I am this feeler.. who cannot be felt… except as feelings…
for these feelings are inseparable from this feeling
I am this taster.. who cannot be tasted… except as flavours…
for these flavours are inseparable from this tasting
I am this knower.. who cannot be known… except as ideas…
for these ideas are inseparable from this knowing

Though colours are not sounds and sounds are not flavours and flavours are not odours and odours are not feelings and these sensations are not ideas… yet

I am One

Apart from Me there is no ‘other’…

I am forever still… and yet…

as these sensations instantly appear and disappear… I dance.. and the dance I dance is called ‘life’…
